TIFFANY TURNER,
OWNER & INSTRUCTOR
Joyfit evolved from my love of exercise combined with my formal education training. Since age 15, I have loved a sweaty hard workout, and jumped on board with every new workout trend. When my kids were young, I traded my gradebook for my microphone, after getting every certification I could get my hands on. I taught in studios and gyms all around Oakland County and opened my first cycle studio in 2017. After a few tries and a few changes in design, Joyfit was born. The clients that are Joyfit are like no other; they are fiercely loyal, super fun, and make the studio a warm, happy place. We encourage each other, we laugh and we become our best selves together.
I am passionate about making our classes stronger, our leadership inspiring, and our studio welcoming. I am always looking for the next challenge and opportunity. Recently I have been able to train as a Women’s Health Coach with a menopause specialty. Our priority is to be a healthy as possible, and feeling strong.
My priority is not just this business, but this community as well. I try to balance a very busy schedule that comes with four active kids and could not do it without a slate of awesome instructors. Because of Joyfit, I can make myself better for the members, my kids and my family. I hope you find the inspiration, motivation and the means to do the same!

JEN CURTIS
Jen Curtis, has been riding RealRyder bikes for many years and recently decided to become certified. Teaches early morning Tuesday/Thursday spin and covers other classes regularly. Her big smile and warm manner will get you up and grinding on the bike in the morning!
CHRISTIN HASSELBRING
Christin brings a ton of experience with all fitness levels to the table, owns her own LLC for health and wellness, and is always up for anything. She teaches our Tuesday/Thursday evening classes. Christin’s love for fitness adventure will keep you motivated and engaged through every workout.

LAUREN HAYWARD
Lauren is an Oxford native who lives all things sports and workout related. Her hard work has been consistent and eye-catching since she started as a participant many years ago. A teacher by day, and fitness instructor by early morning, she has a constant glow and contagious laugh. Her workouts are creative and efficient and will make your early alarm clock worth it. She has been trained in Tabata and strength by the best. Catch her in 5:30am Fit INTERVALS and filling in for other classes often!
ALEXIS MACDONALD
Alexis is a certified group fitness instructor with over six years of experience leading group classes with creativity and inspiration. She is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and achieving goals. Alexis recently became a certified women’s fitness specialist and is ready to bring even more to our already awesome classes. You can work out with Alexis on Friday mornings at 5:30 am in her BARRE Fit class.
KATHY GARRIS
Kathy is our stand-in instructor with great knowledge and experience of all our fitness classes. She has been an avid fitness addict for most of her life and runs a mean STRONG Fit class. Be ready for her fun music when the boss is gone.
